| About: Julie E. Gabrielli NCARB, LEED has been practicing architecture for 20 years. Her practice, Gabrielli Design Studio, focuses on sustainable design, as well as strategic sustainability for businesses and institutions, from mission clarification to cultural and physical environments. Past work includes the Green Template for Rowhouse Renovation, LEED coordination for two classroom renovation/additions at Harford Community College, LEED coaching for the Brinks Building Renovation, and a green building plan for the National Aquarium in Baltimore. She teaches as an adjunct at the University of Maryland School of Architecture and is currently involved in an interdisciplinary design studio working on the 2007 Solar Decathlon house. Our work explores and redefines our context, our legacy, and our future as part of the natural world. |
